Daniel Jon Dupriest

Translations of this page:

My name is Daniel Jon Dupriest, and I am a software developer, virtual reality content creator, and Japanese translator. I was born and grew up in Texas, worked in Japan for 12 years, then moved to Oregon where I now live. See my resume.

I was first introduced to computers when my father brought home an IBM PC to use for work when I was very young, and my interest in programming, graphics, and mathematics has steadily grown since then. My current focus is creating novel virtual reality experiences and 3D data visualizations, though I am always working on various side projects, most of which I post online as open source or an interactive demonstration. I love learning and teaching about technology equally and am always excited to discover new ideas and techniques for solving challenging problems.
